There are so many made-up holidays... National Day of This or That. Most are kind of silly, like National 'Talk Like a Pirate' Day.
Oh brother!
But I finally found one that is truly worth celebrating!
National Chocolate Milk Shake Day!!!
And Himself is a champion maker of hand built chocolate milk shakes.
Start off with a generous amount of Blue Bunny vanilla ice cream.
Scooped with a Blue Bunny scoop direct from Le Mars, IO (we took the plant tour on one of our road trips).
Add just a bit of milk.
And some Hershey DARK syrup. Very important!
A generous helping of Carnation chocolate malted milk...
Then he starts beating it to the perfect consistency.
Finally it is served to his waiting wife!
Who is happily sipping away while she is writing this!
And yes, it is very, very good.
